UNICAL POST UTME REGISTRATION IS OUT - 08033557335/08027141986

Information reaching us from a very reliable source close to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. James Epoke, says the Post-Utme Screening to be conducted by the University of Calabar (UNICAL), might be postponed.

This is due to the internal NASU strike that was embarked upon by its members (Calabar Branch). This strike held for a whole week (12th-19th June), which is just a 5-Day warning strike, as heard from one of the participant. The Non-Academic staff threatens to embark on an indefinite if their terms are not meet by the authorities.

The reason for this strike has not yet been confirm, but some of our sources say, the strike was embarked upon so that the implementation of some incentives like Job hazard, Chemical hazard, etc will be paid to the workers.

The other reason is because of the much announced ASUU Strike, coming up very soon which the school will participate in if it eventually begins. For the sake of students will pray it doesn't commence, cause it might last for almost a year. We will continue to give you regular update on any other development in the school.

As for those who has chosen the University of Calabar as their most preferred 1st choice, and scored from 180 and above should be prepared, because the screening exercise will commence very soon. And for those that score less than 180, they are advised to go back and check their results because jamb is adding scores for some candidates.
